I'm Prasanna Deshapriya, currently a Master student of Space Applications at University of Science & Technology of Hanoi (USTH). I obtained my Bachelor degree in Physical Science from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2013.
Being an amateur astronomer, my passion is working for the upheaval of both Astronomy & Beyond IYA projects of Sri Lanka and worldwide.
I voluntarily work as the National Point of Contact (NPoC) of Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) for Sri Lanka. Further, I'm a part of Astronomical Association of Sri Lanka (AALK), Astronomy & Space Study Center (ASSC), Mathematical & Astronomical Society (MAS).
In addition I work as a freelance writer for few science blogs and I'm also a podcaster of SkyLK astronomy podcast.
